Kenny Chesney is set to make history as the first country artist to perform at the Las Vegas Sphere, announcing a 12-show residency beginning Memorial Day weekend in May 2025.

The announcement follows a teaser campaign featuring a beach scene with waves washing up to a blue chair, guitar, and cowboy hat - iconic symbols associated with the country star.

"When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in," Chesney told People, emphasizing the venue's 4D technology and advanced sound system that will create an immersive experience for his fans, known as No Shoes Nation.

Chesney joins an impressive roster of performers who have graced the 18,600-seat venue, including U2 (who launched the venue with a 40-show residency in September 2023), Dead & Company, Phish, and the Eagles.

Performance Dates 2025:

  • May: 22, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31
  • June: 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14

Ticket Information:

  • General sale begins Friday, January 31, at 10 AM PT
  • VIP packages available now for early access

The announcement comes after Chesney experienced U2's residency firsthand, stating he was "completely consumed" by the venue's technological capabilities. The country star promises to leverage these features to create an unprecedented concert experience that celebrates his deep connection with fans and the emotional resonance of his music.
