Ghost Frontman: Phone-Free Concerts Create More Engaged, Joyous Audiences
Ghost's frontman Tobias Forge has announced that their upcoming world tour will be a phone-free experience, with attendees required to secure their devices in Yondr pouches during performances.

During recent shows filmed for their 2024 movie "Rite Here, Rite Now," the band discovered that phone-free audiences were significantly more engaged. Forge observed that without phones, crowds appeared more joyous and fully present, reminiscent of concert experiences from a decade ago.
The decision isn't about copyright control or monetization. Instead, it aims to enhance the live experience for all attendees. Fans will retain possession of their phones in Yondr pouches and can access them in designated areas if needed.
Ghost's new album "Skeletá" releases on April 25, with their world tour beginning April 15 in Manchester and concluding September 25 in Mexico City.
Tour Dates:
April 15-May 24: European leg (UK, Belgium, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway)
July 5-August 16: North American leg (Various US cities)
September 24-25: Mexico City
The complete tour schedule spans 47 shows across three continents, featuring performances at major venues including Madison Square Garden, The O2 London, and Palacio de los Deportes.
