Kash Patel, Trump's potential FBI Director nominee, has publicly committed to releasing both the confidential "Diddy list" and Epstein files if appointed, citing the need for transparency in federal agencies.

During a recent Benny Johnson podcast appearance, Patel emphasized his determination to expose what he describes as "decades of alleged corruption." He specifically mentioned that the FBI has "direct control" of the Epstein list and claimed Bill Gates was actively lobbying Congress to prevent its disclosure.

"They are terrified," Patel stated. "[Trump's] going to come in there and maybe give the Epstein list and maybe give the P. Diddy list. The American people deserve the truth."

The "Diddy list" has gained particular attention following recent sex trafficking allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was arrested in September. The list allegedly contains names of celebrities connected to Combs and the ongoing investigations.

While Trump has hinted at possibly releasing the Epstein list, he hasn't made any firm commitments or mentioned the Diddy list specifically. Patel, however, has consistently advocated for these disclosures since last year, stating, "Put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are."

The nomination has faced criticism, particularly regarding Patel's lack of traditional law enforcement experience. Former Attorney General William Barr has expressed concerns, labeling the potential appointment as "dangerous."

Current investigations into both matters remain ongoing, with multiple agencies involved in gathering and verifying information related to both cases.
