Live Nation is discontinuing its popular 'Lawnie Pass' program at outdoor amphitheaters across the United States. The company announced via Instagram that while the program won't return in 2025, they're developing "new and exciting programs" for the summer concert season.

The 2024 Lawnie Pass, which sold for $239, provided several benefits including:

  • Fast-lane entry access
  • Personalized entry credential
  • Free parking
  • Unlimited lawn seating for ~25 concerts per season

This change comes alongside other recent modifications to Live Nation's concert experience:

  • Mandatory $20 minimum parking fee
  • Ban on personal low-rise chairs (venues now require $15 chair rentals)
  • Higher fees for premier, VIP, and oversized vehicle parking

Live Nation has historically used all-access passes to boost attendance at venues with lower turnout. Similar strategies included the $59 Club Pass in 2022 and periodic $20 all-in tickets promotions. These promotions typically end once attendance goals are met.

The company has promised to notify previous Lawnie Pass holders first about any new offerings for the upcoming concert season.
