Alabama's June Jam festival has been postponed until 2026, organizers announced. The event, which returned in 2023 after a 26-year break, is taking a temporary hiatus due to economic factors, talent availability issues, and scheduling conflicts with the nearby Rock the South festival moving to June.

The Fan Appreciation Weekend will proceed as planned from June 26-28, featuring:

  • Teddy Gentry Singing with the Stars contest
  • Songwriters Concert
  • Fandemonium on the Farm at Randy Owen's property
  • Various events at the band's Fort Payne headquarters

Tony Conway (band manager), Mike Smardak (Outback Presents Co-CEO), and Greg Fowler (June Jam Foundation manager) expressed gratitude to the city of Fort Payne, state of Alabama, VFW Fairgrounds, volunteers, first responders, local police, and business sponsors for their continued support.

The June Jam has a rich history, drawing over 30,000 fans at its 1982 debut and growing to 67,000 attendees by 1991, making it one of the nation's largest country music events. Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry, and the Jeff Cook Estate remain committed to the event's future and its mission to fund the June Jam Foundation through world-class performances.

Organizers are focused on maintaining the event's high standards and look forward to delivering another memorable festival experience when it returns in 2026.
