
Fortnite Creator Economy Soars: 36.5% of Gameplay Now in User-Generated Islands
Epic Games has revealed significant growth in Fortnite's creator economy throughout 2024, with user-generated content (UGC) now accounting for 36.5% of total playtime.
The Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) community expanded from 24,000 to over 70,000 creators in 2024, producing 198,000 UGC islands. Nearly 60,000 creator-made islands see daily activity, with 70% of Fortnite players engaging with both Epic-made and creator-made content.
