Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team is challenging evidence obtained during federal raids on his properties, arguing the search warrants were "unconstitutionally broad" ahead of his May trial.

According to a heavily redacted memo from Combs' attorneys, the government sought extensive authority to seize digital devices, iCloud accounts, and various records under the premise that "Mr. Combs' entire life was a criminal enterprise." The legal team argues these warrants contained "frequent and patterned" misrepresentations and misleading omissions.

The defense also claims prosecutors are employing "racist" laws to "police non-conforming sexual activity." Combs faces federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Currently held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center without bail since his September arrest, Combs is represented by attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, following Anthony Ricco's recent departure from the team. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment.

Beyond the federal case, Combs is also defending against multiple civil suits alleging assault and other crimes.
