Waze has introduced legendary singer Chaka Khan as its newest celebrity voice navigation option, offering drivers a uniquely calming navigation experience.

The feature transforms everyday driving into a more mindful experience with Chaka's soothing voice providing gentle navigation prompts like "buckle up and take a deep breath. Let's take this journey one mile at a time" and "I'm feeling good today and I hope you are too. Let's channel that positive energy as we set out on the road."

Users can also customize their experience with a new 'Focused' moodlet that transforms their car icon into Chaka's Morris Minor - her first car. The feature is available globally with English voice navigation through the latest version of the Waze app. To activate, users should look for the 'Chaka Khan' banner in the column menu.

This addition joins Waze's impressive roster of previous celebrity voices, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Morgan Freeman, Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Hart, and others. As these voice packs are typically available for a limited time, interested users should activate the feature soon.

The launch coincides with Chaka Khan's recent headline performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Miami, where she shared the stage with Jon Batiste and Janelle Monae in an intimate celebration of soul and funk music at the festival's second American edition.
