Founded by former Soundstripe executive Matt Arcaini (CEO), industry veteran Mark Stuart (Director of Label Services), and Wavy Records co-founder Caleb Grimm (Director of Marketing), WavMaker aims to solve common challenges in music licensing for video content creators.

The subscription-based platform will offer:

  • A constantly refreshed pre-licensed music library
  • Simplified licensing structures
  • Affordable access to quality music
  • Intuitive user interface for quick music discovery

"As a musician and creator myself, I understand the constant struggle to find affordable, quality music for video content," says CEO Matt Arcaini. "Our platform frees creators from worrying about acquiring high-quality music and allows them to focus on producing incredible content."

CTO Jack Whitis, formerly of Soundstripe and Rosie, emphasizes the platform's technical capabilities: "Our platform abstracts away the inherent complexity of music licensing and makes finding the right song part of the creative process."

The company plans to use the seed funding to:

  • Expand operations
  • Hire additional team members
  • Strengthen customer outreach efforts

WavMaker is expected to launch its platform later this month, offering video creators a streamlined solution for their music licensing needs while providing musicians with a new revenue stream for their work.
