Nkoda has partnered with Universal Music Publishing, Concord, and Wise Music Group to launch Kordl, a new streamlined platform for music rentals and licensing. The platform aims to modernize and simplify the process of accessing prestigious rental catalogues.
Kordl unifies multiple aspects of music management into a single platform, including:

The B2B platform offers customization options for publishers and will soon expand to include recorded music licensing and sync rights. This development represents a significant shift from existing systems like Zinfonia, which currently handles rentals for companies like Boosey & Hawkes and Wise Music.
Lorenzo Brewer, Nkoda's co-founder and CEO, emphasized the platform's unique position: "We combine our knowledge of rental catalogues and understanding of different internal business processes with deep technical expertise to create an intuitive, robust, and future-proofed software platform."
The launch aligns with other digital initiatives in classical music, including Universal Music's Deutsche Grammophon Stage+ streaming service. Nkoda has also recently introduced ARIA-i, an AI-powered music education tool, demonstrating their commitment to digital innovation in the music industry.
