The Black Keys have canceled their North American arena tour due to low ticket sales and will reschedule performances at smaller venues. This decision follows their successful European and UK tour promoting their latest album, "Ohio Players."

In a social media statement, the band assured fans that both Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are well, explaining their intention to create a more intimate concert experience similar to their recent shows at venues like Brixton Academy and Paris' Zenith.

All ticket holders will receive full refunds and get priority access to purchase tickets for the rescheduled shows. The original tour was set for September through November, with ticket prices ranging from $100 to $300.

The change comes after their latest album "Ohio Players" debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200, marking their lowest commercial performance in nearly 20 years. In comparison, their 2022 album "Dropout Boogie" reached No. 8.

The band will maintain their scheduled performance at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6, with new tour dates to be announced soon.
