Tegan and Sara Force Warner Music Store Closure Over Order Fulfillment Crisis
Tegan and Sara have announced the closure of their Warner Music merchandise store due to significant order fulfillment issues. The duo cited a massive backlog affecting multiple Warner artists' stores and inability to get clear shipping timelines for existing orders.
The backlog is impacting pre-orders for their upcoming album "Hey, I'm Just Like You" along with merchandise items including hoodies, t-shirts, and limited-edition cassettes. The album will feature new versions of demos they recorded as teenagers.

The duo plans to launch their own merchandise store to maintain better quality control. They expressed frustration over the situation, noting their commitment to providing quality products with unique designs by their art director Emy at fair prices.
Warner Music acknowledged the issues in a statement, saying they are working with their fulfillment provider Direct Shot and other vendors to resolve the situation.
The sisters emphasized that taking control of their merchandise operations will help prevent similar issues in the future and ensure better service for their fans.
