Dinastía, which specializes in urban music and has a strong presence in Latin America, will use this investment to support SonoSuite's growth initiatives while maintaining the founders' majority control over the company.
SonoSuite operates a white-label platform that helps independent record labels and music distributors manage their catalogs, royalty payouts, and reports. The company partners with major industry players including SoundExchange, Merlin, PPL, IFPI, and Worldwide Independent Network (WIN).
The investment comes at a strategic time as independent artists continue to gain market share. SonoSuite competes in the digital distribution space alongside established players like Distrokid and Tunecore, while maintaining its focus on serving independent music professionals through initiatives like 'Friends of Impala.'
Sebastián Mañana, CEO of SonoSuite, emphasized the strategic value of the partnership: "We are glad to welcome this strategic investor who provides valuable industry insights, as part of our cap table. At the same time, the founders retain a substantial majority of shares and hold control over the company."
