Shopify has removed Yeezy.com from its platform after the website attempted to sell t-shirts featuring Nazi symbolism. The ecommerce site was available through Monday before being taken offline for violating Shopify's terms of service.

The controversial merchandise included a t-shirt displaying a black 45-degree tilted swastika - the symbol used by Nazi Germany. The product was labeled "HH-01," an apparent reference to "Heil Hitler." This follows Kanye West's recent antisemitic statements on X/Twitter, including praise for Hitler and claims of being a Nazi.

Shopify released an official statement: "All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify."

The incident sparked immediate backlash from multiple organizations and public figures, including actor David Schwimmer and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The ADL noted that 30 antisemitic incidents nationwide were previously tied to Kanye's 2022 antisemitic statements.

Before any potential ban could be implemented, Kanye deactivated his X/Twitter account after posting additional controversial statements about slavery and racism. The platform's owner, Elon Musk, had previously allowed West back on the platform following an earlier ban for antisemitic content.

This latest controversy adds to a pattern of inflammatory behavior from the artist, raising concerns about the spread of hate speech and antisemitic messaging through commercial platforms.
