
Shooting at Boosie Badazz Ohio Concert Leaves Three in Critical Condition
Three people were critically injured during a shooting at a Boosie Badazz concert afterparty at a bar in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred around 2 AM when a fight broke out, leading to multiple shots being fired.

Two victims were found inside the bar - an 18-year-old and a 36-year-old man, both in critical condition. A third victim, age 25, sustained a graze wound and drove himself to the hospital. The suspect fled the scene and remains unidentified.
The shooting happened during an afterparty following Boosie's Millennium Tour stop at Cleveland's Rocket Arena. Video footage shows the rapper ducking for cover when shots were fired, with at least one shot occurring while he was still performing.
Status8 Elite Bar & Grille, where the incident took place, will remain closed until Friday for investigation. The venue announced new security measures, including:
- Installation of metal detectors
- Updated dress code
- Prohibition of large bags and certain items
- Enhanced security protocols
The venue expressed condolences to the victims and their families in a social media statement. Despite the incident, Boosie Badazz has not addressed the shooting and will continue his tour, with upcoming performances in Philadelphia and Baton Rouge.
