The pair was arrested on May 23, with Kingston taken into custody at Fort Irwin Army training base during a performance, while his mother was arrested during a police raid on their rented Florida mansion. They face one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and five counts of wire fraud, potentially resulting in several years of imprisonment.

Additionally, Kingston faces a $916,000 default judgment from Dream Watch over unpaid luxury timepieces. The company claims Kingston agreed to purchase two watches - a Richard Mille Model RM 65.01 Automatic ($534,000) and a Patek Philippe ($378,000) - but never completed payment despite receiving the merchandise.

Attorney Robert Rosenblatt stated, "We believe he's innocent and we're looking forward to trying his case in state or federal court or both if necessary." The legal team plans to file motions regarding double jeopardy issues between federal and state courts.

Prosecutors allege Kingston and his mother obtained over $1 million through various fraudulent schemes involving high-end cars, jewelry, and other luxury goods using falsified documents.
