A former Bad Boy security guard and Diddy's ex-bodyguard, Gene Deal, has raised concerns about the recent sale of Notorious B.I.G.'s catalog, claiming the rapper's children won't benefit from the transaction.

Deal alleges that Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, representatives of Biggie's estate, orchestrated the sale of the late rapper's publishing and marketing rights shortly after the death of his mother, Voletta Wallace. The deal, reportedly worth between $100-150 million, is being negotiated with publisher Primary Wave.

"These guys, Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, went on and started working out deals to allegedly sell Big's publishing, his marketing, all his rights to everything," Deal stated in an interview with The Art of Dialogue. He emphasized that the deal appears to benefit the representatives rather than Wallace's family or his children.

The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, left behind two children: T'yanna (born 1993) and Christopher Jr. (born 1996). The terms of the deal and potential benefits to Biggie's children remain unclear.

Deal also revealed that Voletta Wallace allegedly "never trusted" Diddy and avoided him at events, suggesting she suspected his possible involvement in her son's death. The murder of the Notorious B.I.G., which occurred in 1997, remains unsolved after nearly three decades.
