Nashville Council Approves Morgan Wallen's Broadway Bar Sign Following Legal Settlement
Morgan Wallen's Broadway bar sign has received approval from the Nashville Metro Council, just days after his court sentencing for a chair-throwing incident. The council voted 30-1 (with six abstentions) to permit the sign installation at 'Wallen's This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen.'

The approval comes after Wallen's December 12 court appearance, where he received a sentence including:
- Seven days in a DUI education center
- Two years of supervised probation
- Charges eligible for dismissal and expungement upon successful probation completion
The chair-throwing incident occurred on April 7 at Chief's bar, where Wallen allegedly tossed a chair from the rooftop, nearly hitting two police officers. He later issued a statement taking responsibility for his actions.

The approved sign design features:
- "Morgan" text positioned above
- Red and white "Wallen's" lettering
- "This Bar" logo underneath
- Additional Tennessee-shaped signage on the building
The council's decision came despite concerns from some members regarding both the chair-throwing incident and Wallen's 2021 racial slur controversy.
