Texas attorney Tony Buzbee has withdrawn from 14 lawsuits against Sean 'Diddy' Combs in New York federal court after being denied admission to practice law in the Southern District of New York (SDNY).

The Committee on Grievances denied Buzbee's January 29 admission petition, citing his unauthorized appearances in court cases before seeking proper admission. U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams highlighted this violation of local court rules.

Buzbee claims the denial stems from a grievance filed by Jay-Z (Shawn Carter), which he says was an attempt to prevent his admission. Despite being in good standing with the New York State Bar, Texas State Bar, and Eastern District of New York, Buzbee decided to withdraw to keep the focus on "securing justice for the Plaintiff."

In his defense, Buzbee stated that he electronically signed pleadings alongside admitted local counsel who actually filed all documents. However, Diddy's legal team argues that Buzbee's "egregious misconduct" justifies denying him court privileges.

The plaintiffs will continue to be represented by the New York law firm that co-filed the lawsuits. This development follows a recent withdrawal of another sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy by a different Buzbee client.
