Meta has partnered with Dorsey Pictures, 7 Cinematics, and Light Sail VR to produce an immersive VR concert featuring Shawn Mendes at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

The 83-minute concert experience, filmed in 180 degrees, will premiere on January 24 at 5 pm PT in Meta Horizon Music Valley. Viewers using Meta Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest 2, and Quest Pro headsets can RSVP for the event.

The setlist includes popular hits like "Stitches," "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back," "In My Blood," and "Why Why Why." The production takes full advantage of Red Rocks' natural acoustics and scenic beauty, offering viewers an intimate front-row perspective of Mendes' Friends & Family Performance.

"Red Rocks was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life," shares Mendes. "That night was so special to me, and I'm so happy to be able to bring it to those who couldn't be there in person."

Sarah Malkin, Director of Metaverse Entertainment Content at Meta, emphasizes the production's goal of capturing the authentic connection between Mendes and his fans. The concert will be available for replay in Meta Horizon Music Valley for a limited time, giving fans worldwide the opportunity to experience this unique performance.
