Eligible music programs must fall into these categories:

  • In-school music classes with active student participation
  • After-school music programs (non-school operated)
  • Community music programs offering instruction
  • Music therapy programs with active participation

Additional support is available through multiple organizations:

  • MusiCares: Offering $1,500 in financial relief, $500 grocery cards, and instrument replacement assistance
  • Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation: Providing emergency funds for theatrical distribution community members
  • Dramatists Guild Foundation: Grants for composers, lyrists, and playwrights covering rental, medical, and insurance needs
  • Motion Picture and Television Fund: Financial aid and social services for entertainment community members
  • NAMM Foundation: Established $50,000 LA Wildfire Relief fund

The Los Angeles wildfires have displaced over 150,000 people, prompting this coordinated response from various organizations to support affected musicians and arts professionals.
