The pre-game lineup showcases New Orleans talent, with Jon Batiste performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" and Louisiana native Lauren Daigle singing "America the Beautiful" alongside Trombone Shorty. Otis Jones IV will provide the American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation of "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

"Lift Every Voice and Sing" was written in 1899 by James Weldon, a civil rights activist and educator, as a celebration of President Abraham Lincoln's birthday. The music was composed by his brother John Rosamond Johnson. The song has been performed at the Super Bowl since 2020, with previous performers including Alicia Keys (2021), Mary Mary (2022), and Andra Day (2024).

Lauren Daigle expressed her excitement about representing New Orleans, stating, "It's going to be a beautiful opportunity for us to showcase what New Orleans represents, and the culture, and the beauty of unity in music." She emphasized the significance of bringing hope to the city through music on this global stage.

The Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will take place on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Viewers can watch the pre-game performances starting at 6:30 pm ET on Fox, Fubo, or Tubi.
