The split comes amid Roan's impressive four Grammy nominations for 2025, including Album of the Year for "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Good Luck, Babe!" and Best New Artist. Former Ticketmaster CEO Nathan Hubbard confirmed the management change on the Every Single Album podcast, noting that top industry managers are now competing to represent the artist.
The 26-year-old artist's career continues to flourish, with recent highlights including:
- A debut performance on Saturday Night Live featuring her unreleased country-pop track "The Giver"
- The premiere of new song "Subway" at Governors Ball
- Ongoing development of new material
Roan has also gained attention for her stance on fan interactions, speaking out against what she describes as "predatory" behavior and advocating for stronger boundaries between artists and fans. "I don't agree with the notion that I owe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention to people I do not know, do not trust, or who creep me out — just because they're expressing admiration," she stated.
