Alt-pop artist Izzy MacArthur releases her debut EP 'Blame It On A Bad Dream' today, featuring 5 tracks that explore themes of personal growth, mental health, and life transitions. The EP launch included an innovative social media scavenger hunt for fans who pre-saved her single "Landmines."

The EP features collaborations with Spencer Hattendorf, Nate Mondschein, and Fran Litterski (known for work with Danielle Bradbury and Mary Kutter). MacArthur has already garnered over 98,000 Spotify streams with just four previous releases.

Track listing:

  • "Light Sleeper"
  • "Exit Wounds"
  • "Landmines"
  • "Misery Missing Company"
  • "Sleepwalking"

The title track "Light Sleeper" opens the EP, featuring the pivotal line that inspired the collection's name. Under the Radar praised her single "Exit Wounds" for its raw exploration of post-heartbreak emotions. "Landmines" delicately addresses mental health, while maintaining MacArthur's signature confessional writing style.

Musical influences include contemporary artists like Lorde, Sam Fender, and The 1975, alongside childhood inspirations such as Fall Out Boy, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Matt Maeson, early Miley Cyrus, and Bon Iver.
