Festival booking platform Festicket has secured $2.7 million in Series A funding, led by Wellington Partners and PROfounders Capital. Previous investors including Playfair Capital, Windcrest Partners, KIMA Ventures, and Jacques-Antoine Granjon also participated in the round, following their $680,000 seed funding contribution in 2013.

The company plans to use this new capital for three main purposes:
- Accelerate international expansion, with the U.S. market as the primary target
- Grow their team
- Further develop their business model
Currently, Festicket features just one U.S. festival on their platform - Atlanta's TomorrowWorld. The company aims to significantly expand its presence in the American market.
Jonathan Younes, Co-Founder and CTO of Festicket, stated: "We've started by building the most comprehensive online booking platform to add much-needed simplicity to travel in the live music space. We will use this new capital to take Festicket to the next level by building inspirational features and recommendation tools for festival-goers eager to discover new festival experiences."
