Fatboy Slim Slams Dynamic Pricing and Oasis Reunion Ticket Costs
Fatboy Slim has openly criticized dynamic ticket pricing and excessive costs for Oasis' reunion concerts, calling the practice "sick" and unfair to fans.
Speaking to The Sun, Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) expressed strong disapproval of promoters and bands using dynamic pricing to maximize profits. "It's bad enough with the touts doing it, but the actual promoter and band doing it — it is sick," he stated.

He emphasized that such practices only benefit already wealthy artists and promoters, arguing against making concerts more expensive simply because of high demand. Cook maintains fair pricing for his own shows, stating, "I get a say on making tickets, on the whole, cheap. I always say, 'Let's have a fair price.'"
Despite claiming to "hate" Coldplay, Cook praised their approach to ticket pricing, specifically their initiative to donate 10% of tour ticket revenue to support smaller venues. He believes this demonstrates responsible pricing that helps sustain the music industry's ecosystem, particularly for emerging artists.
