Ed Sheeran and Cradle of Filth Collaboration Complete but Release Date Remains Unknown
A surprising collaboration between Ed Sheeran and extreme metal band Cradle of Filth has been recorded but remains unreleased, according to recent interviews with frontman Dani Filth.

The track, completed roughly two years ago, won't appear on Cradle of Filth's upcoming album "The Screaming of the Valkyries" to avoid overshadowing the rest of the record. While the song is fully mixed and ready, release plans remain unclear due to hesitation from Sheeran's management about a grand announcement.
Dani Filth describes the collaboration as a perfect blend of both artists' styles, featuring Sheeran's signature acoustic guitar work alongside Cradle of Filth's characteristic blast beats and screaming vocals. The song reportedly focuses on self-affirmation and achieves a balance between both artists' distinct sounds without compromising either's identity.
"It's fucking fantastic," says Filth, though only a select few have heard the finished product. "You hear it and go, 'Oh my God, fuck me, acoustic guitar, that's Ed Sheeran.' Then at the same time, you can flip the coin and go, 'Fuck me, this is a Cradle of Filth song.'"
While "The Screaming of the Valkyries" is set for an April release, fans will have to wait longer for this unique cross-genre collaboration to see the light of day.
