ED Raids 5 Cities Over Coldplay Concert Ticket Black Marketing Scandal
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids across five Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Bangalore - investigating widespread black market sales of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour tickets and Diljit Dosanjh's Dilluminati concert tickets.

The investigation began after tickets, originally sold through BookMyShow and Zomato Live, sold out within minutes, leading to unauthorized resales at inflated prices on social media platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Telegram. BookMyShow filed multiple complaints regarding these illegal sales.
During the October 25 raids, the ED seized electronic devices, including mobile phones, laptops, and SIM cards, containing evidence of fraudulent ticket sales. The investigation has expanded to include potential money laundering, focusing on tracking illegal profits and dismantling associated financial networks.
Key Details:
- Concert Dates: January 18, 19, and 21, 2025, in Mumbai
- Official Sellers: BookMyShow and Zomato Live
- Affected Cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Bangalore
The ED continues to monitor both online and offline networks involved in ticket fraud, advising fans to purchase tickets only through official channels to avoid exploitation.
