The lawsuit details multiple serious allegations:
- Sexual abuse and terrorization of Richard
- Witnessing physical abuse of Cassie Ventura, including choking and assault with objects
- Withholding earnings and copyright theft
- Creating inhumane working conditions during MTV's Making the Band 3 and 4
- Threats against Richard's life when she tried to help Ventura
- Depriving band members of basic needs like food and sleep
Richard claims she first recognized Combs' violent tendencies in 2005 when she witnessed Kim Porter leaving a studio visibly injured. She describes feeling particularly threatened during her first off-camera interaction with Combs, when he met Cassie Ventura in 2006.
According to the lawsuit, Combs would threaten Richard with statements such as "you want to die today" and "I make n—— go missing" when she attempted to help Ventura escape the alleged abuse.
The lawsuit also details how Combs allegedly mistreated Danity Kane members, refusing their requests for basic needs and responding with derogatory comments like "you bitches don't want this" and "I'm paying you bitches to work."
Combs and his legal team have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding these allegations.
