
Delta Airlines Adds Free YouTube Premium and Music to New 4K Inflight Screens
Delta Airlines is enhancing its inflight entertainment with free YouTube Premium and YouTube Music integration on new 4K screens, starting in 2026.

The new entertainment system will feature 4K HDR QLED screens with Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones across all cabins. Passengers can also utilize a "Do Not Disturb" button during rest periods.
SkyMiles members will receive complimentary access to ad-free YouTube Premium and YouTube Music during flights, with the service launching later this year. Delta is also implementing a content recommendation engine to help passengers discover available entertainment options.
At CES 2025, Delta unveiled additional technological improvements, including:
- AI-powered "Delta Concierge" feature in their app
- Partnership with Uber for earning SkyMiles
- Plans for fuel-efficient aircraft development with Airbus
- Enhanced WiFi connectivity across their fleet
During Delta's 100th anniversary celebration at CES, CEO Ed Bastian emphasized the airline's commitment to innovation and customer experience: "New marvels like AI, the digital revolution and sustainable technology are giving us incredible tools to transform the travel experience, but amid the wonder of new technology, we've always understood that the entire point of innovation is to lift people up."
The presentation included demonstrations of virtual pilot training and featured a performance by Lenny Kravitz, showcasing Delta's vision for the future of air travel while honoring its century-long legacy in aviation.
