Cambridge Club Festival has announced the cancellation of its 2025 edition after seven successful years, joining over 170 other music festivals that won't take place next year.

The festival, which evolved from a local gin festival in 2016 to a major music event attracting 25,000 attendees, has featured legendary performers including Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, and The Jacksons. While organizers haven't explicitly stated the reason for cancellation, rising costs are likely a contributing factor.
This year's event at Childerley Orchard showcased performances from notable artists including:
- Chaka Khan
- Jessie Ware
- Earth Wind & Fire Experience
- Melanie C
- Natasha Bedingfield
In their official statement, organizers expressed gratitude to attendees: "After seven golden years in the festival field with you, we are now taking a few moments to reflect and look at what the future holds for this special community of music fans." They promised to share updates when more information becomes available.
