Apple has partnered with China Mobile to offer Apple Music subscriptions to over one billion mainland China subscribers. Users can activate the service through the China Mobile app or at retail stores, with three subscription tiers available:

  • Student Plan: 6 yuan
  • Individual Plan: 11 yuan
  • Family Plan: 17 yuan

This partnership follows Apple's successful collaboration strategy in China, including a previous deal with Douyin (China's TikTok) in 2018. Douyin users who subscribe to Apple Music can access their full music library within the app, while new users receive a three-month trial.

Apple has also expanded its services internationally through similar partnerships. In India, the company partnered with Airtel to integrate Apple Music and Apple TV+ into Airtel's ecosystem. This arrangement led to:

  • Integration of Apple TV+ into Airtel's Xstream platform
  • Absorption of Airtel's Wynk music service into Apple Music
  • Bundling of Apple services with Airtel WiFi and Postpaid plans

Reports indicate Apple may further expand its partnership with China Mobile to include Apple TV+ services in the future.
