The company terminated its partnership with West in late 2022 following his antisemitic comments on social media. The collaboration, which began in 2013, was initially valued at $1 billion and represented approximately $1.5 billion of West's net worth, according to Forbes.

Despite facing revenue decline in the US throughout 2023 and most of 2024 due to reduced Yeezy sales, Adidas began liquidating the remaining stock in mid-2023. The company pledged to donate a portion of proceeds to organizations combating antisemitism, including the Anti-Defamation League.

Adidas maintains its stance against hate speech, stating: "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. [West's] recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness."

Meanwhile, West continues to use the Yeezy brand name independently, recently running a controversial Super Bowl ad filmed on his iPhone. The ad directed viewers to his website, which notably displayed controversial merchandise for sale. He has continued to make inflammatory statements on social media, followed by subsequent apologies.
