ADA, Warner Music Group's global independent music distribution arm, has renewed its partnership with Sonny Fodera's record label Solotoko. Since its founding in Ibiza in 2017, Solotoko has become a powerhouse in electronic music, featuring releases from prominent artists including Dom Dolla, John Summit, James Hype, and Vintage Culture.
Fodera's recent success includes his hit single "Somedays," which achieved significant milestones:
- Only independent release nominated for Song of the Year at 2025 BRIT Awards
- Eight weeks in UK Top Ten, peaking at #5
- Biggest selling UK independent single of 2024
- Gold certification in Australia and UK
- Double Platinum in Ireland
The artist's live performances have been equally impressive, with instant sellouts at:
- London's Alexandra Palace
- Two Warehouse Projects
- Two nights at Dublin's 3 Arena
- Third successful residency at Ibiza's Amnesia
The five-year partnership between ADA and Palm Projects (Fodera's label team) has helped generate over two billion global streams across Fodera's catalog. According to Greg Burnell (Fodera's manager) and Howard Corner (MD of ADA UK), this extended partnership aims to expand Solotoko's global presence and build upon their success in 2025.
The renewed agreement positions Solotoko for continued growth in the electronic music scene, with plans to further develop both the label and Fodera's international presence in the coming years.
