
Year-End Awards: Billie Eilish Crowned Apple Music's Artist of the Year, Shaboozey Named Breakout Artist
Billie Eilish has been named Apple Music's Artist of the Year, marking her second time receiving this prestigious honor, while emerging artist Shaboozey has been recognized as SoundExchange's 2024 Breakout Artist.

Eilish's remarkable year included a historic second Academy Award, two Grammy Awards for her Barbie soundtrack contributions, and the release of her third studio album "Hit Me Hard and Soft," which topped Apple Music's albums chart in 138 countries. She is currently nominated for seven Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year.
"Since day one, Apple Music has supported by music and artistry, and I am both honored and humbled to receive this recognition as Artist of the Year this many years into my career," Eilish stated.
Shaboozey's breakthrough year featured his hit single "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" and a notable appearance on Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" album. He made history as the first Black artist to simultaneously top Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and the Hot 100.
