The partnership builds on Free Lunch's existing collaboration with AEG Presents, where they handle hip-hop, R&B, and gospel tour operations. Ericka Coulter, Warner Records' A&R SVP, will maintain her current role while serving as Free Lunch Records' General Manager.
Initial signings include acclaimed artists:
- Syd (Sydney Bennett), previously with Columbia Records
- Alex Isley, daughter of Ernie Isley from the Isley Brothers, who released her latest work through BMG
Warner Records co-chair and CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck emphasized the strategic alignment: "Tim's expertise extends beyond talent development to creating cultural impact across music, sports, fashion, and live entertainment."
Hinshaw expressed his vision for the partnership: "By uniting Free Lunch Agency with Warner Records, we'll combine our expertise in creative, music, and brand building to elevate the first-class roster and expand artist narratives globally."
The collaboration aims to leverage Free Lunch's creative studio capabilities with Warner Records' industry presence to develop and promote emerging talent in the hip-hop and R&B genres.
