In a video shared on Instagram, Ty demonstrated how the album was absent from Apple Music's prominent sections like 'New Music' and 'Best New Songs', despite topping the Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks.
The album's journey has been complicated from the start. After initial distribution challenges, it briefly appeared on Apple Music before being removed due to a dispute with distributor Fuga. While the album was eventually reinstated, it continues to face legal challenges, including:
- A lawsuit from Donna Summer's estate over unauthorized sampling in "Good (Don't Die)"
- Denied sample clearances from both Nicki Minaj and Ozzy Osbourne
- Controversy over Ozzy Osbourne's "Iron Man" sample used in a listening party
The album's release comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding Kanye West's public statements and business relationships, including the termination of his Adidas partnership in 2022.
