Post Malone's OREO Collaboration Sparks PETA Controversy Over Animal Testing
Post Malone's collaboration with Mondelēz International on a limited-edition OREO flavor has drawn criticism from PETA. The special cookie release, which launched February 3 to coincide with the Super Bowl, features an innovative swirled creme combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors.

The unique cookie design includes nine different embossments inspired by Post Malone's world, featuring a special OREO x Posty vinyl design showcasing his discography. Each pack includes a handwritten signed note from the artist on the back.
PETA has criticized the partnership due to Mondelēz International's animal testing practices. The organization claims the company conducts nutritional testing on mice, including controversial experiments where mice are fed human feces before dissection.
While Mondelēz International implemented a partial ban on animal testing in 2018, the company maintains testing for "fundamental knowledge in nutritional science." PETA argues these experiments are both cruel and scientifically unreliable, noting that animal reactions differ significantly from humans and that modern, humane research alternatives exist.
The organization's campaign aims to educate consumers about companies' animal testing practices, encouraging support for businesses that avoid animal testing entirely.
