Nelly Added to Trump Inauguration Ball Lineup Amid Arctic Temperatures
Rapper Nelly has been announced as the latest addition to perform at Trump's Inaugural Liberty Ball, one of three official inaugural balls scheduled for Monday, January 20th.
The Grammy-winning artist, known for hits like "Country Grammar," "Ride Wit Me," and "Hot In Herre," defended his decision to perform during a live conversation with rapper Willie D. Nelly emphasized that his participation isn't financially motivated but rather out of respect for the office of the presidency.
"I'm not doing this for money. I'm doing this 'cause it's an honor. I respect the office," stated Nelly, who was born on a military base in St. Louis. He noted that his family, including his father, aunts, and uncles, have served in the US military.

- Kid Rock
- Billy Ray Cyrus
- Lee Greenwood
Due to an approaching arctic blast with temperatures expected to drop into the low 20s, Trump has announced that the inauguration ceremony will be moved inside the Capitol building.
