MSG Benefit Concert Raises $4.5M for Hurricane Relief with Star-Studded Lineup
The sold-out Soulshine benefit concert at Madison Square Garden successfully raised $4.5 million for hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina and Florida through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, and donations.

The November 24 event featured an all-star lineup including Dave Matthews Band, Warren Haynes Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Goose. Special guests included Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and Ben Jaffe.
Performance highlights included:
- Dave Matthews and Warren Haynes opening with "Soulshine"
- Dave Matthews joining Goose for Bruce Hornsby's "The Way It Is"
- Mavis Staples performing with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
- Dave Matthews and Trey Anastasio's intimate rendition of Phish's "Waste"
- Dave Matthews Band performing "The Weight" with Anastasio, Rateliff, and Tedeschi
- A full ensemble finale of The Beatles' "Come Together"
The concert, which concluded Dave Matthews Band's Fall Tour, was produced by Live Nation and Day Glo Presents. Volta Media produced the livestream, sponsored by Cisco, allowing global fans to participate and donate online. All proceeds will be distributed through the Soulshine Concert Fund to various organizations supporting hurricane relief in North Carolina and Florida.
