The 31-year-old singer received his sentence in Nashville court for reckless endangerment, which includes:

  • 7 days at DUI Education Center (not jail)
  • Two years' probation
  • $350 fine plus court fees
  • Conditional guilty plea with judicial diversion

The incident occurred on April 7 when Wallen threw a chair from the roof of Chief's Bar in Nashville. Police officers witnessed the chair falling from the six-story establishment's rooftop. Upon successful completion of his probation terms, Wallen's charges will be eligible for dismissal and expungement.

His attorney, Worrick Robinson IV, stated to People that Wallen "has cooperated fully with authorities" and "remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation."

Wallen addressed the incident on social media in April, stating: "I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe."

Despite the legal troubles, Wallen was named Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards, though he was not present to accept the award.
