Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant Takes Home $9 Million in Royalties From Two Companies, Filings Reveal
Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant received approximately £7 million ($8.8 million) in royalty dividends during the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2024, according to recent financial statements.

The payments were distributed through two companies: Trolcharm Limited (established 1981) and Sons of Einion Limited (established 1997). Trolcharm, focused on performing arts, paid Plant £3 million ($3.75 million), while Einion, handling sound recording and music publishing activities, contributed £4 million ($5 million).
Both companies are majority-owned by Plant and managed by the singer and his family members. These substantial payments, notably absent in the previous year, coincide with significant developments in the Led Zeppelin legacy:
- The upcoming release of "Becoming Led Zeppelin" documentary in February
- The recent sale of a 10% stake in Led Zeppelin's catalog by Helen Grant (daughter of former manager Peter Grant)
- Continued commercial success of Plant's solo work, including albums like "Now and Zen" (1988)
While the exact source period for these dividends remains unspecified, the payments demonstrate the enduring financial value of Plant's musical legacy, both with Led Zeppelin and as a solo artist.
