Latest Music Industry Executive Moves: OpenPlay, Symphonic, AWAL & More Senior Appointments

Recent music industry hires and promotions have brought significant changes across multiple companies as of March 14th, 2025.

OpenPlay has launched its Reach division with RoyaltyAmp founder Bob Barbiere as EVP and GM. Law firm Oppenheim + Zebrak welcomed new partners Katheryn Jarvis Enters and Jeff Kane, while Lectrosonics appointed Jonathan von Rentzell as regional sales and technical manager for the central U.S.

Symphonic Distribution announced several promotions: Steve Lewis to senior director of UGC and video, Jakub Alexander to VP of A&R and client development, Jon Mizrachi to Bodega Sync's VP and head of sync, and Laura Catana to director of content and social media strategy.

Peermusic elevated Elizabeth Rodda to president of global society relations for U.S. Latin and Latin America. AWAL/Sony Music Entertainment brought back Aniket Parpillewar as head of India and South Asia.

TEG saw leadership changes with Geoff Jones moving to chairman and Brad Banducci taking over as CEO. Ampollo added five advisory board members, including Andy Saunders as chair. Virgin Music Group appointed Adrian Pope as its first EVP of digital business and global partner relations.

Musicians on Call made eleven promotions, including Katy Epley to COO and Elizabeth Black to operations SVP. Peachtree Entertainment hired Marty Elliott and Andrew Goldberg as VPs, while Round Hill Music added Jeff Bunder as global CFO and James King as chief capital officer.

Spotify retained Bill Simmons as head of talk strategy, while Rachel Whitney announced her departure. Universal Music's board member Manning Doherty will retire on March 21st. Post-bankruptcy Audacy confirmed approximately 300 layoffs affecting various programs.

The Other Nashville Society underwent leadership changes, with co-founders moving to advisory roles and new appointments including Jeanette Porcello as president. Blue Raincoat/Chrysalis Records welcomed Colin Rice as catalog director, and ARIA/PPCA's longtime COO Lynne Small announced her upcoming departure in April.
