The overall Super Bowl broadcast achieved its highest viewership ever, with 127.7 million people watching the Philadelphia Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs. Viewership peaked during the second quarter between 8:00-8:15 PM ET, drawing 135.7 million viewers as audiences tuned in for Lamar's performance.
The nearly 13-minute halftime show featured special guests Samuel L. Jackson, DJ Mustard, SZA, and Serena Williams. A highlight was Lamar's performance of his Grammy-winning Drake diss track "Not Like Us," which recently made history by winning all five Grammy categories for which it was nominated.
Streaming platforms contributed significantly to the record-breaking numbers, with Tubi accounting for 13.6 million viewers, while NFL+ and other NFL platforms brought in nearly one million additional viewers. The total viewership was measured across Fox, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo, and NFL digital properties, showing a 2% increase from the previous year's figures.
