Kanye West's Yeezy Porn Faces Lawsuit Over Toxic Work Environment and Minor Exploitation
Kanye West's 'Yeezy Porn' venture faces serious legal challenges over alleged workplace misconduct and exploitation of minors. The lawsuit details disturbing allegations about the company's work environment and treatment of employees.
The controversy began when West acquired an app and its developers to create his own music streaming platform, aiming to bypass traditional streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. Several developer groups, including YZYVSN and YZYAPP, initiated projects hoping to work with West.
Key allegations in the lawsuit include:
- Employment of minors as young as 14 years old
- No safeguards to prevent minors from working on adult content
- Racist work environment allegedly fostered by Milo Yiannopoulos
- Forced signing of NDAs under threat of termination
- Harassment based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation, and ethnicity
- Inappropriate sharing of pornographic content, including by Bianca Censori
- Failure to compensate workers for completed work
The Discord messaging channels allegedly contained racist language, with team members being referred to as "slaves" and "new slaves." Workers reported experiencing "hostile, intimidating, and harassing" conditions, including constant deadline changes and cult-like behavior.
Milo Yiannopoulos, who later resigned on May 20 citing concerns for his mental and physical health, dismissed the lawsuit as a "sad race hustle" on social media. He claims the legal action was initiated by incompetent developers.
