Kanye West Airs Controversial Super Bowl Ad Promoting Swastika T-Shirts
During Super Bowl LVIII, Kanye West (Ye) aired a low-budget commercial filmed on an iPhone, directing viewers to his website selling controversial t-shirts featuring swastika imagery for $20. Initially offering various items, the site quickly narrowed to only selling white t-shirts with black swastika designs.
This latest controversy follows Ye's recent antisemitic statements on X (formerly Twitter), where he openly identified as a Nazi and praised Adolf Hitler. Shortly after the Super Bowl ad aired, he deactivated his X account, preempting calls from actor David Schwimmer and Jewish advocacy groups for his suspension.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) strongly condemned the incident, with CEO Jonathan Greenblatt stating, "Let's call Ye's hate-filled public rant for what it really is: a sad attempt for attention that uses Jews as a scapegoat. But unfortunately, it does get attention because Kanye has a far-reaching platform on which to spread his antisemitism and hate."
The ADL further denounced the stunt on X as "another egregious display of antisemitism, racism, and misogyny from Kanye West." As of publication, the website remains active with the controversial merchandise still available for purchase.
This incident marks the latest in a series of controversial actions by the disgraced rapper, who continues to generate headlines through increasingly provocative behavior and statements targeting the Jewish community.
