Glassnote Records has partnered with Hook, an AI-powered social music app, to integrate tracks from emerging artists including Tors, bby, Hayes Warner, and Dylan Cartlidge. The partnership will expand to include more artists from Glassnote's impressive roster, which features Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino, Phoenix, and CHVRCHES.

Hook, recently launched on iOS, enables users to create remixed versions of songs using ethically-trained AI technology. Fans can speed up, slow down, or mashup tracks, similar to popular TikTok remixes, while ensuring artists receive proper compensation and maintain creative control.

Daniel Glass, Founder & President of Glassnote Music, emphasizes the importance of embracing new technology while protecting artists' creative integrity. The platform provides detailed controls over how fans can interact with licensed music on social media and offers analytics on remix performance globally.

The app creates a new revenue stream for artists and rights holders by monetizing fan-created derivative versions across social platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Hook's consumption-based model ensures artists receive payment as fans create and share remixes.

Hook's Founder & CEO Gaurav Sharma, former COO of JioSaavn, brings extensive experience in music streaming and licensing to the platform. Under his leadership, JioSaavn grew to over 100 million monthly active users and was among the first to secure global streaming licenses with record labels.
