The company offers a comprehensive platform that addresses all modalities of AI-generated content, including image, audio, and video, for both stored files and real-time digital communications. Their unified solution helps organizations manage risks associated with AI-fueled attacks.
Notable appointments include Forgepoint Capital Co-Founder Alberto Yépez and digital forensics expert Dr. Hany Farid joining GetReal's board of directors. The new funding will support research and development, product development, and market expansion efforts.
According to Yépez, recent advances in foundation models and generative AI have created new vulnerabilities in digital enterprise security, making content verification and authentication crucial for risk management. GetReal's combination of digital forensics expertise and cybersecurity knowledge positions them uniquely to address these emerging challenges.
Ted Schlein, GetReal's Chairman & Co-Founder, emphasizes that AI-generated content is becoming increasingly prevalent, with bad actors already exploiting these technologies. The company aims to provide enterprise and government organizations with robust solutions for rapid and accurate digital media verification.
