The concert will showcase performances from their upcoming collaborative album "Who Believes in Angels?" (releasing April 4 via Interscope Records), along with selections from both artists' greatest hits catalogs, including an unreleased track from Carlile.

Beyond the music, viewers will get an intimate look at the duo's 20-year friendship through an on-stage conversation, behind-the-scenes footage of their album creation, and emotional tributes from close friends and colleagues.

Viewing options include:

  • Live broadcast on CBS
  • Live streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime
  • On-demand access for Paramount+ Essential subscribers (available the following day)

The special comes as Elton John concludes his record-breaking Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which grossed $939.1 million from 330 shows over five years, surpassing previous records held by Ed Sheeran ($776.2M) and U2 ($736M). Despite recently experiencing vision loss due to an eye infection that has left him blind in his right eye and with limited vision in his left, John continues to perform and recently co-presented at the 2025 Golden Globes with Carlile.

The concert special is produced by Fulwell Entertainment, with Ben Winston, Gabe Turner, and Sally Wood serving as executive producers.
