
Drake and SZA's Recording Hub Harbor Studios Destroyed in Devastating Palisades Fire
Malibu's prestigious Harbor Studios has been destroyed by the devastating Palisades Fire, as confirmed by owner Zach Brandon. The studio, which has hosted recording sessions for numerous A-list artists including Drake, SZA, and Imagine Dragons, was completely consumed by the 17,000-acre wildfire.

The facility, which officially opened to the public in 2022, featured extensive amenities including:
- A main four-bedroom house with chef's kitchen
- Movie room and steam room
- Hot tub
- Recently completed Zen Garden with 40-foot retractable canopy
- Multiple ponds and waterfalls
- Fully equipped tea bar
- Exercise area

- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
- Doja Cat
- 21 Savage
- Tate McRae
- Nicki Minaj
- SZA
- Jenna Raine
Despite the devastating loss, Brandon has announced plans to rebuild, stating on Instagram: "This is not the end of Harbor. We are restarting from scratch (again)... nothing we haven't done before." He emphasized that the experience gained from building the original studio will inform improvements in the reconstruction.
"The magic that has been bestowed upon us by our clients is something that can never leave. It's in the soil, it's in the air, and it's in our souls," Brandon added, concluding with determination: "We will come back stronger from this."
